Meet our Guest Speakers for the Weekend!
Keynote Speaker: Jana Barnhill, DTM, AS
Our keynote speaker for our Fall conference will be none other than Past International President, Jana Barnhill.
Married to Past International President, Robert "Bob" Barnhill, Jana is one of a handful of women to earn the Toastmasters Accredited Speaker award, as well as be elected as International President for the 2008-2009 year. She has also twice finished in the top three of the World Championship of Public Speaking.
Her international theme for that year, "Courage to Conquer" did not come just from Toastmaster members overcoming their fears of speaking in public. Jana and her husband were both survivors of a plane crash in the 1980s. In the years since that trauma she has been conquering her fear of flying and spreading that message to her audience--to help them find the confidence to conquer their greatest fears and find the courage to change their lives.
